The Phoenix Digital Ring Light for Macro Photography is the state of the art macro lighting solution for copying documents, medical, dental, jewelry, nature and small subject photography. Specifically engineered for digital cameras, this ring light overcomes the focusing, dim viewfinder, exposure and lens compatibility problems typically encountered with ring flashes and other types of flashes when shooting at close distances. Producing perfect close-up lighting effects with the Digital Ring Light is straightforward and uncomplicated as your camera's full TTL exposure capabilities, including Manual, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority and Program, are retained. The high tech one piece design weighs in at only 4.2oz and incorporates a powerful lithium polymer rechargeable battery to effectively eliminate the cumbersome connecting cords and heavy power supplies required by other ring lights/ flashes. As the unit is self contained, it is easy to use off of the lens and aimed for creative lighting control or when shadow free images are not desired. The Digital Ring Light's large inner diameter opening prevents vignetting with most lenses having a filter size up to 82mm (Yes 82mm!). Supplied with 62mm, 67mm, 72mm and 77mm adapter rings plus optionally available rings from 28mm to 82mm, allow use with almost any digital or film camera and lens ever made. For even further versatility, the built-in tripod socket enables mounting to stands, tripods, positioning arms and other supports.
